When we say we are a technocrat organization (STEM), we go beyond basic computer training to emphasize the "E" for engineering. Our digital skills project focuses on innovative advancements, including laser deterrents and robotics, as shown in the attached pictures.

STEMpower is more than a science organization—it's a hub where skills are developed and lives are transformed through cutting-edge technology and innovation.

Today, STEMpower South Sudan launched a tree planting project in Panrieng. In 2023, a similar project was started that planted 400 trees in the town, but it ended in 2024. Due to ongoing climate change and environmental damage, STEMpower, together with the Ministry of Petroleum, has decided to relaunch the project. This is part of the effort to fight climate change, which is causing delays in the rains and higher temperatures in our country.

The new project aims to plant 1,500 trees in the area. The launch event was attended by STEMpower South Sudan's Executive Director, Lucy Biel, ministers of Agriculture, Health, and Education, Directors General, the town mayor, RRC representatives, sultans, women leaders, youth representatives, church groups, schools, and other important guests.

STEMpower South Sudan remains committed to helping communities by providing services and working at the grassroots level. We believe that planting trees is a vital step toward protecting our environment and securing a better future for all.
