Today, at NPA Hall, CARE SOUTH SUDAN convened our members under the Global Affairs Canada–funded Project.

The meeting successfully reorganized the SSWLO Pool Secretariat to enhance coordination and joint advocacy ahead of the upcoming RWVL call for proposals.

Newly Elected Secretariat:
- Chairperson: Modi Enosa Mbaraza (YWCA)
- Deputy Chairperson: Sarah Abeja (J4G)
- Secretary: Maria Alum Menya
- Treasurer: Lillian Sukeji (V4C)
- Public Relations: Nancy Acayo (PDP)

Congratulations to newly elected Secretariat and this surely marks a renewed commitment to amplifying women’s leadership and collective action across South Sudan.

Women Empowerment Alliance (WEA) is offering free skill training in wall painting to empower participants with hands-on, income-generating skill.

Skill Training in Painting

Requirements:
- Must be a South Sudanese woman/man
- Willingness to learn and commitment to participate fully

Details:
- Duration: 3 weeks (start is based on selection process)
- Location: Juba, South Sudan (Venue to be communicated to trainees)
- Target: 25 participants (70% women and 30% men)
