This year's World Mental Health Day theme, "Mental Health at Work," highlights the importance of mental health and well-being in the workplace. This day, observed annually on October 10th, serves as a reminder of the significance of addressing mental health issues in the workplace, benefiting individuals, organisations, and communities as a whole.

As we focus on the theme of mental health at work, let us remember the importance of prioritising mental well-being in the place where we spend a significant portion of our day.

Let us continue promoting a healthy work environment that nurtures both physical and mental well-being.

Wishing you all a happy World Mental Health Day.

This year's floods in Panyijiar County present a life-threatening situation, necessitating a coordinated multi-sectoral response from humanitarian partners. The floods have severely affected vulnerable populations, leading to widespread displacement to higher ground and islands where basic needs like food, medicine, and shelter are lacking.

In response, local youth have actively participated in building d***s, demonstrating community resilience. However, the exhaustion of local coping mechanisms underscores the urgent need for comprehensive support to address the immediate and long-term needs of the flood-affected populations.
