"A Dream Never Dying – Building a Better South Sudan"

South Sudan, a land of immense potential, has endured struggle and conflict but still holds the dreams of its people for a brighter future. A "dream never dying" is the unshakable belief in change—seen in the resilience of mothers teaching under trees, farmers working war-torn land, and young leaders refusing to let war define their nation.

This dream is kept alive by teachers, doctors, and elders who fight for justice, peace, and opportunity. Making a difference means rejecting injustice, sowing peace, and ensuring future generations inherit schools, hospitals, and good governance—not just memories of war.

Though challenges like corruption and tribalism persist, the dream endures. Mandela’s words remind us: "It always seems impossible until it’s done." South Sudan’s rebirth depends on its people—both at home and abroad—who refuse to give up.

Let us be the generation that turns this dream into reality—building bridges, investing in education, and rewriting South Sudan’s story through unity and resilience. The dream lives on, making a better South Sudan not just possible, but inevitable.

✊🏾 For a nation reborn in peace, unity, and prosperity.

There are 8Ms for sustainable development. These are;
1. Mindset
2. Market
3. Methods
4. Management
5. Money
6. Manpower
7. Materials
8. Machinery
Most people jump to number 5 without applying the rest hence leading to no progress.
We should endeavor to apply all the 8Ms for sustainable development.

SOUTH SUDAN RECEIVES ITS FIRST NEUROSURGEON (a brain surgeon)

Today marks a historical day in the field of health for the people of South Sudan as Dr. Winny Costa Mapuor graduates from Addis Ababa University as a neurosurgeon.

Over the last five years, she studied to be a brain surgeon under a scholarship that was provided to South Sudan by the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, a challenge and an opportunity that she understood and took with all her might and prayers!

Despite all the difficulties, Dr Winny Costa Mapuor stood her ground and fought it through to the touching line, completing her residency programs. She has been finally awarded with master's degree in Neurosurgery.

As she prepares to immediately return home as a consultant to translate her knowledge into saving lives, South Sudan is today among neurosurgeons in the world.

Winny is the first neurosurgeon and she will also double as the first female neurosurgeon in the Republic of South Sudan. She will serve as an inspiration to the many South Sudanese and the young generation of girls in particular!

Congratulations Dr Winny!

No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself or to get all the credit for doing it.

A good objective of leadership is to help those who are doing poorly to do well and to help those who are doing well to do even better.

YOUR TIME IS COMING.

Try not to compare yourself to people around you. Life isn't a race, its about making the right decisons at the right time. Do things at your own pace; take less notice of what everyone else is doing. Don't be jealous of situations you know little about. Don't be jealous when people around you reach milestones; be happy for them, be patient and know your time is coming. Everything happens at the exact moment its supposed to.
