ADRA is improving learner wellbeing in Chukudum, Budi County through a school-based deworming exercise targeting school children.

In areas where access to clean water and sanitation remains limited, many learners are at risk of intestinal worm infections, affecting their health, attendance and academic performance.

Through this initiative, learners received safe deworming treatment alongside health education on hygiene practices such as handwashing, wearing shoes, and proper sanitation.

This intervention is helping reduce absenteeism, improve concentration in class, and create a healthier learning environment for children.

By investing in school health programs, ADRA continues to support holistic education and ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
