Mrs. Ajok Wol Dau has paid a visit to the office of the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) of the Apuk Youth Union in Juba.

Mrs. Ajok is aspiring to contest as an independent candidate for the position of Chairperson of the Apuk Youth Union in Juba in the upcoming 2026–2028 elections.

During her visit, she paid the required alliance registration fee, as stipulated in the Constitution of the Apuk Youth Union.

The Independent Electoral Committee will proceed with the necessary electoral processes in accordance with the established rules and regulations.

𝐉𝐔𝐁𝐀, 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 πŸ‘πŸ, πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ” β€” Marko Mawien Manyuon, Flag Bearer of the Apuk Youth Forward Alliance, has visited the office of the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) of Apuk Youth Union in Juba.

Mr. Marko registered his alliance with the IEC and picked up the application form to contest for the position of Chairperson of Apuk Youth Union in Juba for the 2026–2028 term.

He has successfully cleared both the alliance registration fee and the candidate application fee as required by the IEC.

The IEC will now review his application and supporting academic certificates before making an official announcement on his eligibility to contest in the Apuk Youth Union in Juba elections for the 2026–2028 term.

The Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) of the Apuk Youth Union in Juba, led by its Chairperson, Molana Mangong Madut Yak, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Anthony Majak Achuoth Malek, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.

During the visit, the IEC briefed Hon. Majak on the electoral roadmap and preparations for the upcoming Apuk Youth Union in Juba elections for the 2026–2028 term.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the IEC to update the Undersecretary on the ongoing electoral process and reaffirm its commitment to conducting a peaceful, transparent, democratic, and orderly election.

1. The seven-member Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) was officially formed last Sunday to oversee the 2026 Apuk Youth Union in Juba General Elections.

2. The IEC has given alliances seven days to register, with each party required to pay a registration fee of SSP 2.5 million. Pick registration form at Savannah House from IEC for more information.

3. Aspiring candidates are required to collect nomination forms from the IEC and pay a non-refundable nomination fee of SSP 5 million. Pick nomination form from IEC at Savannah House for more information.

4. Voter registration has officially commenced at Savannah House in Buluk, near KCB, and will continue for three weeks. Voter pays 30,000 SSP as registration fee. iNote: Come with you Nationality for identification and register with your payam.

5. More candidates are expected to join the race in this year's elections. So far, two candidates have officially declared their candidatures, while several alliances are still expected to meet and unveil their flag bearers.

So far, two candidates have officially presented their candidatures for the position of Chairperson of the Apuk Youth Union in Juba online. However, neither candidate has yet unveiled their running mate, as required by the Constitution.

Marko Mawien Manyuon is the flag bearer of Apuk Youth Forward, while Ajok Wol Dau is contesting as an independent candidate. She is the first female candidate to contest for the top position of Chairperson of the Apuk Youth Union in Juba.

This is to inform the General Assembly of the Apuk Youth Union in Juba (AYU-J) that the meeting scheduled for Saturday, 15 August 2026, at South Sudan Hotel, Buluk, has been postponed to Saturday, 22 August 2026.
The meeting will take place at the same venue and at the same time as previously scheduled.

This postponement is due to unforeseen circumstances. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued cooperation.

The Apuk Youth Union in Juba (AYU-J) hereby invites all its members to attend a General Assembly Meeting for the formation of the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC), which will oversee the election and peaceful leadership transition for the 2026–2028 term.

PICTORIALS: The Chairperson of Apuk Youth Union in Juba, Agany Geng Ayiei shared the second Executive meeting for 2026 at the Rio Hotel, Juba, and resolved the following:

1. The Secretaries for Agriculture, Projects & Logistics, and Health were officially sworn into office.

2. The committee noted satisfactory progress in the ongoing peace and reconciliation process and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity through dialogue and cooperation.

3. The Executive resolved to convene a General Assembly after the 2-day peace and reconciliation consultative meeting to establish an Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) to organize elections ahead of the leadership handover in the third week of September 2026.

4. The Secretary General and Secretary for Finance were directed to prepare timely administrative and financial reports to facilitate a smooth leadership transition.
