HOW TO KNOW WHICH BUSINESS TO START USING YOUR SALARY
Here are five misconceptions about a salary;
1. It's too little
2. It's from hand to mouth
4. It's supposed to be big enough to solve problems 😕
5. It should have been bigger.
Your responsibility is not to earn the largest salary in the world. That may never happen. Your job and my job is to live such simple lives that our salaries suddenly becomes and appear big. Secondly we must be creative with it. Here is how-
A. HAVE A BUSINESS LIFE- what business can you engage in as you work to make extra money (our goal is to start with 10% income at 30% investment with a 40% savings plan once capital doubles.)
Never depend on one source of income. It is depressing.
B. 🤔 THINK THINK THINK
What opportunities do you see around you that no one is satisfying? Is there a shortage of water that you could mitigate? Is there a need for a stationary supply shop at a University near your home? Do employees near your work need breakfast that you can supply?
Remember a horse pipe will always be wet by the water it transports.
C. DON'T SATISFY THE WHOLE WORLD
Many people fail to make it in business because they want huge profits. Start small, create a system and then expansion will follow.
Find your niche in business and do it. A watch repair does not make watches. He just fixes them. A waiter is not a farmer. A teacher does not manufacture chalk neither does a plumber make pipes. Each one has found their place in the value chain and market place. Find yours.
D. ENJOY MAKING 10%
People will accuse you of loving ❤ money too much. But what they don't know is that you love the process of getting wealthy slowly. You love your 10% and you enjoy seeing it grow. That is the discipline of entrepreneur junkies.
E. WHAT CAN YOU PUT YOUR PASSION IN?
If you have other responsibilities like a job or school or even another business, starting a new venture means pouring your heart into something else. So what can you do during lunch time, or after hours or before hours? What can you do over the weekends or holidays. Or when on leave?
F. KILL ALL YOUR EXCUSES
As long as you have an excuse and a justification for everything especially poverty and mediocrity, then progress will elude you.
Robert Kennedy once said, "There are those who look at the way things are and ask 'why'. Then there are those who look at the way things could be and ask 'why not'?"
God be with you and may He alone guide you to establish your networth effectively with a powerful network.
There is no overnight success but there is overnight motivation and inspiration for those who seek a better life for themselves.
