Discover the unique Indigenous culture in our community. From August, 16 2013 - August, 25 2013 Suriname will host Carifesta XI.

Each community has the opportunity to participate in this festival of arts and culture. Therefore Apoera will have it's Community Festival from August, 17 2013 - August, 19 2013. At this Community Festival the focus will be on the unique indigenous culture in West-Suriname. The traditional costumes, the music, traditional drinks an nine night event are a small part of its unique culture. Apoera, the place to be during Carifesta XI.
