Participants explored the difference between casual digital use and productive use, including learning, networking, creating, and accessing opportunities.

The session also highlighted digital security, online reputation, responsible content sharing, and the importance of building a positive digital footprint.

Participants reflected on their daily digital habits and how intentional use of technology can support learning, personal growth, career opportunities, and future success.

Today’s session focused on Why Study Skills Matter, helping participants explore practical approaches to becoming more organized, focused, and effective learners. The session highlighted key skills such as time management, goal setting, active learning, effective note-taking, concentration, organization, and self-discipline.

Through engaging discussions and practical reflections, participants gained valuable insights into how strong study skills can improve academic performance, strengthen confidence, and support lifelong learning.

Today's session focused on Leadership Skills, where our fellows explored the core competencies that define effective leadership in today's dynamic world. The session emphasized the importance of self-awareness, effective communication, teamwork, strategic decision-making, adaptability, and ethical leadership as essential qualities for creating positive and sustainable impact.

Through interactive discussions and practical reflections, participants strengthened their understanding of what it means to lead with purpose, integrity, and resilience—both within their organizations and in their communities.

This cohort brings together passionate and motivated young individuals who are ready to learn, grow, and enhance their leadership potential. Throughout the program, participants will develop essential skills in Goal Setting & Planning, Digital Literacy and Skills, Communication Skills, Education for Sustainable Development, and Leadership Skills — equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to create positive change. 📚🌱

We’re honored to mark the graduation Program’s 2nd Cohort of 14 brilliant fellows in Mogadishu today. After 6 months of cohort-based training in Leadership, Career Mapping, Goal Setting, and Life Skills, the fellows are stepping forward with clarity, confidence and purpose.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the distinguished guests, our graduating fellows, program alumni and community leaders who joined us to celebrate this milestone and reaffirm our shared commitment to youth leadership development.
