DEH Relief Somalia (DRS)
DEH Relief Somalia (DRS) is nonprofit, nongovernmental Organisation which is registered in the Federal Government of Somalia with the Ministry of interior and National security, under registration number 0415/2012, with the mandate to provide both humanitarian and development services to all accessible regions of South Central Somalia.
DRS is also registered in Galmudug State of Somalia and is a member of United Nations Somalia's led clusters, such as; Nutrition, Food security, Education, WASH and Protection, among others. DEH has a vast experience in Somalia and has over the years established a strong working relationship with the local communities that DEH supports.DRS is managed through established structures as stipulated in its constitution.
The organisation is headed by the Board of Directors (BOD) -- which is the overall decision making authority. The BOD is assisted by a team of senior and technical staff which is headed by the Executive Director. Needless to say, DEH´s governance model places the beneficiaries and communities we serve at the core of the organisation management structure; in every village, there is a relief committee and in every district, we work hand-in-hand with elders in every district, town or municipality.
