With support from the German Embassy Nairobi, we officially launched the Born Perfect Caravans: From Law to Practice project in Galmudug through a stakeholder engagement meeting on media production to enhance awareness and support the implementation of the FGM law.

The event was officiated by the Minister of Wasaaradda Haweenka & Xuquuqul Insaanka Galmudug & the Minister of Justice. This brought together key justice and judicial actors, including police, the Attorney General’s Office, judges, lawyers, religious leaders, Members of Parliament, and women’s groups.

The initiative aims to strengthen awareness and promote effective enforcement of laws against Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM).
