verty, youth migration, inter alia, IDPs in order to promote peace, justice, human rights and democracy at grassroots, state and national levels to achieve durable peace, stability and harmony for development. Empowering youth and women education, engagement and/or employment is a central priority for sustainable recovery, peace and development,

Our Mission is to build local capacities to advocate for positive social change by promoting peace, human rights and justice through awareness creation, community mobilization, civic education, revival of arts & cultural practices, and youth and women skill building. In the above context, SIPEJ is working with youth, women, minority groups and civil society in all diversities to identify and address underlying issues of the target community through appropriate socially transformative approaches in which all can actively play their roles to affect positive change and achieve sustainable social justice, respect for human rights and development. SIPEJ implemented peace, protection and reintegration, Public Awareness Campaign/Civic Education activities, Gender Advocacy and Peace Building& Conflict Resolution training sessions in Baidoa. Besides, SIPEJ’s activities included reformation and training activities for local artists in SWS funded by Danish Demining Group (DDG). SIPEJ has legal statutes to work in its operational area and collaborates with the civil society networks and social groups in Southwest State of Somalia and has good engagement with the CSOs in Southwest State of Somalia, one of the Federal Member States of Somalia.
