Today our Executive Director Abdullahi Jire Hassan paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of Somalia.

The interaction with the Directors of the ministry revolved around how a partnership between the Ministry and KLC can be expanded to ensure more affordability of Legal Aid Services in our communities in a more sustainable manner. Also discussed strategies to increase capacity building for the Justice Sector Actors in Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Somalia Kaal Legal Centre Wasaaradda Cadaaladda iyo Arrimaha Dastuurka XFS Kaal Legal Centre

We successful concluded our first virtual gathering of The Horn of Africa Legal Network co-hosted by Metassebia Law Group LLP - [MLG] and Kaal Legal Centre.

​This virtual gathering brought together lawyers, Young Lawyers, Legal professionals, scholars, and practitioners from Somalia, Ethiopia, and Uganda to chart a practical path forward for cross-border collaboration and regional integration.

We’re delighted participating the IIT in 2026, CNVC’S intensive trainings have brought people together across Africa. Our Founder Yahye Imran is representing us.

In this role, Imran will learn more about Nonviolent Communication-NVC, Restorative Justice-RJ, Mediation, Empathy, Impact of Punishment and concept of punishment and manymoretopics. A day-to-day learning environment and processes of the Certification help us stay connected with those engaging with CNVC’s certification pathway.
