Cahuma was pleased to attend a two-day Capacity Building Workshop for feminist groups, conducted by Network The workshop aimed to strengthen institutional capacity and promote organizational sustainability.
The sessions focused on enhancing Financial Management and Project Management skills for NGOs, covering areas such as budgeting, financial accountability, donor compliance, project planning, monitoring, reporting, and risk management. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, practical exercises, and experience-sharing to improve transparency, efficiency, and effective service delivery.
This initiative contributes to empowering feminist organizations to lead impactful, inclusive, and sustainable programs that advance gender justice and community development.

A high-profile inter-agency mission led by Unicef Country Representative today visited hard-to-reach drought-stricken district of Bay region, Southwest State of Somalia where thousands are at risk of famine and starvation to assess and monitor the humanitarian situation, and the impact of the drought and a looming famine in the district.
