In mid-June 2025, a vital workshop was held in HirShabelle under the “Intrareligious Dialogue for Community Resilience in Somalia” project, bringing together around 50 community leaders, including youth, women, and elders. The training focused on raising awareness about hate speech, its harmful impact, and practical ways to counter it through dialogue, respect, and community leadership. Participants engaged in powerful role-plays, real-life case studies, and interactive discussions that strengthened their skills in promoting peace and tolerance across their communities.
