“For the first time, we are not just listening — we are speaking, reflecting and connecting our rights to our daily lives” — Farhiyo M Mohamud.🌱

Growing up in a conflict-affected community, Farhia witnessed injustice but never had the language to describe it. Through the Training of Trainers (ToT) for Human Rights Clubs (HRCs) in Cadaado, she discovered that human rights are not distant concepts, they are deeply rooted in our faith, culture and shared values.🤝

Today, Farhiyo is not only more aware of her rights and responsibilities but she’s also encouraging dialogue among her peers and inspiring positive change in her community.

Her story is a reminder that when young people are empowered with knowledge and a safe space to engage, they become powerful advocates for dignity, justice and peace. 🕊️

Waxaan ugu baaqeynaa dhinacyada isku haya khilaafka iney dib ugu laabtaan miiska wada hadalka, kana shaqeeyaan sidii loo heli lahaa xal waara oo dan u ah shacabka Soomaaliyeed iyo mustaqbalka dalka.

Sidoo kale, waxaan xasuusineynaa dhamaan dhinacyada waajibaadkooda ku aadan ixtiraamka shuruucda iyo xeerarka caalamiga ah, gaar ahaan ilaalinta shacabka iyo kaabeyaasha muhiimka ah ee bulshadda.
