The Somali Equal Development and Relief Organisation (SEDRO) is a non-governmental organization committed to promoting equitable development and humanitarian support for underserved rural communities in Somalia. SEDRO has access to rural areas that are often left behind in terms of development, education, healthcare, nutrition interventions, and basic human life services.

SEDRO’s main office is located in Yurkud, with additional operational presence in Luuq, Waajid, Bardale, and Baidoa districts. Under Yurkud administration alone, the organization actively operates in 86 villages and has access to thousands of villages across these districts. This extensive grassroots reach enables SEDRO to effectively conduct needs assessments, community mobilization, and humanitarian response in hard-to-reach areas.
The organization works to identify urgent community needs and design practical, community-driven solutions that improve living conditions and strengthen local resilience.

Currently, SEDRO is seeking financial support and strategic partnerships with both international and local organizations, donors, and development agencies to expand its outreach and implement impactful programs. Through collaboration and shared commitment, SEDRO aims to ensure that marginalized communities are not left behind and have access to essential services and sustainable development opportunities.
