To strengthen WASH services for drought‑affected communities in Zaylac District, Candlelight constructed a new shallow well and rehabilitated an existing one. The project also included the construction of two animal troughs and a 350‑meter pipeline extension with a water kiosk in Daba‑Dilaac village.

Candlelight successfully conducted a 3-day training for community mobilizers from Fadhi-xun, Dabadilaac and Sheikh-Aware villages under the Emergency WASH Response to Drought-Affected Population in Zeila District Project.

The training aimed to strengthen local capacity in promoting hygiene practices, water safety and sanitation awareness.
