Role Description
As a Program Manager at Somofal DDD, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and ex*****on of various programs and initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and goals. You will typically involve a mix of strategic planning, resource management, and hands-on coordination. You will be responsible for developing program objectives, setting priorities, and working closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure that each project is completed on time and within budget.
One of the key responsibilities of your work is to monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure they meet the desired impact. This involves collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and making recommendations for improvements. Effective communication skills are essential, as a Program Manager you often present findings to the board of directors, funders, and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will be involved in grant writing and fundraising efforts to secure the necessary resources for program continuation and expansion.
Collaboration is another critical aspect of the role. As a Program Manager, you will work closely with other departments within the organization, such as finance, communications, and development, to align program activities with overall organizational strategies. You will also engage with external partners, including community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers, to build strong relationships that support the nonprofit's mission. By fostering a collaborative environment, you will ensure that all team members are working towards a common goal, ultimately driving the success and sustainability of the organization’s programs.
Qualifications
Master's or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, public administration, social work, or business administration.
Advanced degrees or certifications in nonprofit management can provide a competitive edge.
Experienced in program management, including planning, implementing, and evaluating programs.
