📢 Community Consultation Forum | South West State of Somalia.

Iniskoy for Peace and Development Organization (IPDO) was honored to participate in the Community Consultation Forum organized by the Ministry of Interior, Local Government and Reconciliation (MOILGR), South West State of Somalia.

The forum brought together government representatives, civil society organizations, community leaders, women, youth, and other key stakeholders to strengthen community participation in development planning and decision-making.

Under the theme "Amplifying Community Voices for Inclusive Development, Trust and Local Ownership," participants exchanged ideas on promoting inclusive governance, enhancing public trust, and ensuring that local communities play a central role in shaping sustainable development initiatives.

IPDO remains committed to supporting inclusive dialogue, community engagement, and partnerships that contribute to peaceful, resilient, and sustainable communities across South West State of Somalia.

Iniskoy for Peace and Development Organization (IPDO) is pleased to participate in a two-day training on Strengthening Volunteer Preparedness under the Disaster Volunteer Network (DVN) Phase II programme in Baidoa, South West State of Somalia.

The training equips volunteers with practical skills in disaster preparedness and response, first aid, protection, and effective coordination to enhance timely and efficient emergency response.

This participation reflects IPDO's continued commitment to strengthening local capacities, reducing disaster risks, saving lives, and building safer and more resilient communities across South West State.

On 25 May 2026, Iniskoy for Peace and Development Organization (IPDO) participated in a Single Registration Form (SRF) Training organized by International Organization for Migration for local partner organizations.

The training, held at Palms Hotel inside Aden Adde International Airport, focused on improving understanding of beneficiary registration procedures, data accuracy, accountability, and effective information management in humanitarian and development programs.

Today, we celebrate the power of sport in bringing people together, promoting peace, and creating equal opportunities for all.
