Soutoura est une association humanitaire créée en 2005 afin d’aider les couches défavorisées de la population sénégalaise à faire face à leurs besoins primaires d’accès aux soins médicaux, de nutrition et d’éducation pour leurs enfants. Depuis plus de onze ans, Soutoura vole au secours des populations les plus vulnérables pour leur apporter des aides d’urgence, ponctuelles mais également pour leur
assurer une prise en charge à long terme. Aujourd’hui présente au Sénégal, en France, aux États-Unis et au Canada, Soutoura s’est forgée autour de valeurs telles que la solidarité, la générosité, le respect et la dignité, avec en son cœur une équipe de bénévoles engagés à soulager le maximum de souffrance possible autour d’eux en s’appuyant sur la cotisation mensuelle et continue de généreux donateurs. Soutoura est en pleine croissance, et vous lance un appel : répondez-y, car la souffrance est bien là devant nos portes, ouvrons nos yeux pour la voir et nos cœurs pour l'éradiquer. It conveys the notions of deeds made "secretly", in private and free from any ostentation. It may also extend to the notions of decency. It was it that spirit that Soutoura was founded in 2005 as a non-profit humanitarian organization aiming to help the underprivileged Senegalese population to meet their basic needs of access to medical care, nutrition and education for their children. For more than eleven years, Soutoura flies to the rescue of the most vulnerable and provide them with emergency aid, but also offer them, when needed, long term care. Present today in Senegal, France, the United States and Canada, Soutoura has been built around values of solidarity, generosity, respect and dignity. At its core, a team of volunteers committed to relieve the maximum suffering possible around them, thanks to the monthly and continuous contribution of its generous donors.
