Der Verein der "Internationale Wald" ("Forêt Internationale"), gegründet von Studierenden und Lehrenden der Universität Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar, der mit 70000 Studierenden größten und ältesten Universität Westafrikas, lädt uns ein, uns – sowohl einzeln als auch gemeinsam – der Verantwortung zu stellen, den Klimawandel, der unseren Planeten zunehmend gefährdet, durch konkrete Aktionen zu bekämpfen.
Er ist ein eingetragener Verein im Senegal, der durch Baumpatenschaften, den Einsatz erneuerbarer Energien, Abfallrecyling, Maßnahmen zur Energieeffizienz und Umweltbildung einen lebenswerteren Planeten für alle zum Ziel hat.

L’association « Forêt internationale », fondée par des étudiants et enseignants chercheurs de l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar nous invite à prendre notre responsabilité, aussi bien individuellement que collectivement, par rapport au changement climatique qui menace notre Planète. Il s’inscrit dans une perspective permanente et durable de gestion de l’environnement et encourage tout le monde à participer à cette initiative. L’association « Forêt internationale » permet de prendre des initiatives concrètes, afin de réduire notre participation consciente ou inconsciente à la détérioration de l’environnement et de lutter efficacement contre le changement climatique.

The association "International Forest" ("Forêt Internationale"), was founded by students and lecturers of the university of Dakar, Cheikh Anta Diop, which with 70000 students is the oldest and largest University in West- Africa. The "International Forest" invites and challenges us, individually as well as collectively, to take responsibility to fight climate change, which increasingly endangers our planet. The officially recognized non- profit association aims to make our world a more livable place through tree sponsorships, renewable energies, energy efficiency and recycling.
