Everyone should note that the theme for World Humanitarian Day 2023 is *"No Matter What"*

WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY 2023: SIGNIFICANCE
World Humanitarian Day focuses on the power of unity and compassion during adversity. We should keep the theme for this year in mind and pledge to carry forward the legacy of helping those in need.

Along with honouring the humanitarian aid workers, we must make sure that they are safe. All of us together can build a future that is full of compassion and love.

The theme for this year focuses on rescuing and protecting lives. One should pledge their unwavering commitment towards humanitarian causes.
The theme also prioritizes the strong bond between humanitarians and their promise to make correct judgements that focus on the welfare of the people in need.

*CALL FOR HUMANITARIAN PARTNERSHIP*

NGOs are Non-governmental organizations set up purposely as a beneficial program for the less privileged and socially affected citizens of a country.

It is a non-profit making organization which is organized on a local, national and international level. It is driven by people with a common interest to perform a variety of services and humanitarian functions.

NGOs bring citizen concerns to the Government, monitor and advocate policies and encourage political participation through provision of information.

NGOs focus on numerous aspects that are indeed important to the citizens of a country. Such aspects include:

human rights, legal support, promoting education, agricultural development, encouraging social responsibility, poverty alleviation, supporting human welfare, development of communities, health or environment, especially in Nigeria where Poverty Highlights of the 2022, Multidimensional Poverty Index survey reveal that: 63% of persons living within Nigeria (133 million people) are multi dimensionally poor. The National MPI is 0.257, indicating that poor people in Nigeria experience just over one-quarter of all possible deprivations.

Therefore, I urge all our Executive volunteers members to reach out to personalities within our localities, to partner with Global Hopes for Sustainable Rights of the less Privileged by assisting us with what ever they can provide us with to put food on the table of the poor Nigerians.

*MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS,RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES*

¶. Helping, Caring, Loving, Assisting, and Empowering One another in the Organisation.

¶ . Enjoying Organizational Benefits, Rights and Privileges as a Bonafide member of Global Hopes for Sustainable Rights of the less Privileged.

¶. Membership Representation in Political Office/ appointments, Skills Acquisition Training and Empowerment.

¶ . Assisting Members to benefit from National/ International *Educational Scholarship Scheme* and *Financial Grants from Government/ NGO's* when there is such opportunities .

¶. Assisting Unemployed members of the Organisation to be gainfully employed in the society with meaningful job opportunities.

¶ . Supporting Members during any of the following ceremonies : -

i. *Traditional Marriage/Wedding Ceremony* - Any registered member of the organisation who is getting married either Traditionally or doing Wedding ceremony shall be entitled to a sum of *₦150,000 ( One Hundred, Fifty Thousand Naira ) only* and a Special Gift of Item.

ii. *Bereavement* Since death is inevitable for every human being on earth , so if any active member who is duly registered in the organisation died while still in the service, the Next of Kin/Family shall be entitled for a sum of *₦200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira ) only*

iii. *Death of Members Spouse*- Any active and duly registered member who lost His/Her Spouse to the hands of Death shall be entitled for a sum of *₦150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira )* only

APPRECIATION!!

I was overwhelmed by receiving so much attention for my birthday and would like to thank each and everyone of you so much.

On behalf of myself and family, I wish to appreciate everyone of you for taking your time to celebrate me on my birthday anniversary.

It was a moment of joy for me as I read through your beautiful messages, and the numerous social media posts celebrating me especially the wonderful gifts.

I am grateful and honoured for your kind thoughts towards me.
