Network Movement for Youth and Children's Welfare Welcome to the Network Movement for Youth and Children's Welfare (NMYCW). Since then, we have been operating as a civil society organization

NMYCW was registered as a Youth Serving Agency and community-based organisation in June 2004. Network Movement for Youth and Children's Welfare (NMYCW) is a local organization founded by district and community youth leaders in Kenema, Eastern Sierra Leone. Our mission is to promote the welfare of youth, children, and rural women. NMYCW was registered as a Youth Serving Agency and community-based o

rganization in June 2004. Since then, we have been operating as a civil society organization, advocating for child welfare, women's rights, the Just Mining campaign, cleaning and beautification, tree planting, youth empowerment, and other issues at both the community and national levels. Our organization's strength lies in our membership, which consists of young people and women, as well as the networks and coalitions we participate in as members or leaders. As a voluntary organization, we have a dedicated Advisory Board and coordinating secretariat members, headed by the coordinator. Since our formation, we have enjoyed partnerships with like-minded institutions such as Action Aid - Sierra Leone, UNDP, NaYCOM, MoYA, FoRUT-SL, YMCA-SL, NMJD, Women World Summit Foundation - Geneva, EPA-SL, and WoME.GCAP, SLAPA,EFA-SL Etc. Mission: Our mission is to promote networking, collaborative advocacy, and lobbying among duty-bearers to address the needs and welfare of women, youth, and children. We are committed to facilitating and coordinating with like-minded partners to enhance the abilities of citizens, communities, and organizations to promote and monitor human rights issues related to child welfare and women's rights. Our aim is to educate the public and create awareness on land and environmental protection, as well as youth empowerment through policy engagement, community dialogue, and mass media awareness-raising. Vision: Our vision is to eliminate all types of abuse against women, children, and youth. We also aim to improve the management of land and protect the environment. Furthermore, we seek to empower young people in governance.
