EMPOWERED GIRLS, SIERRA LEONE (EGSL) MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

We are excited to share the incredible news of our recent distribution of school materials to 100 teenage and adolescent girls across five communities (Teko Village, Robom Village, Robin Village, Peteh Bana Village, and Mamakie Village). The exercise was done on Sunday, 24th day of August, 2024, at Madam Alice Koroma Primary School, located in Teko Village, Bombali Sheborah Chiefdom, Bombali District, North-East Sierra Leone!

This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that every girl has the resources she needs to succeed in her education and beyond. But that's not all! We are also thrilled to announce the expansion of our project activities into an additional ten villages within the Makeni District.

This expansion will enable us to reach and support even more young girls, empowering them with education, leadership training, health awareness, and economic opportunities. The new project areas are: Teko Village, Robom Village, Robin Village, Peteh Bana Village, Mamakie Village, Matotoka Village, Makeh Village, Mabuyah Village, Mabi Village, Sanda Village, and 3 Mile Village. By providing school materials and expanding our reach, we are taking significant steps towards breaking down barriers and building a brighter future for the girls in these vibrant communities.
