*Know your Customary Land Right Act 2022*

Each One Save One and Women & Girls Protective Service organisations engaged women and others stakeholders at New Marforki Chiefdom on the popularization of the customary land right acts and more focus on how women should be supported to get acess to land with no discrimination because of her s*x or gender norms in society that limit women participation or access to land.

The land right Acts say,s on *Gender Equality*

"Both male and female members of the family or the community now have equal rights to hold, use, inherit, succeed to or deal with land without any discrimination.

Any existing customary law that discriminate against anyone based on their gender, is considered void under the customary land rights Act 2022.

All chiefdom and village area land committees shall have a maximum 30% women representation"

Many women give testimonies on how they are deprived by men on land owning families and others are not allowed to buy land for themselves until a man is involved.

We say no to land discrimination against womenπŸ’ͺ🏾
