Today, Solidaridad West Africa donated a Toyota Land Cruiser to Develop Salone-DESAL NGO, reinforcing its commitment to empowering local partners and smallholder farmers nationwide.

Presented by Country Representative Andrew Kojo Morrison on behalf of Regional Director Isaac Gyamfi, the vehicle will strengthen DESAL’s capacity to reach farmers across project districts , including hard-to-reach communities.

“This vehicle represents Solidaridad’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that our local partners have the capacity and tools they need to work with dignity and effectiveness,” said Andrew Kojo Morrison

Receiving the vehicle, DESAL Executive Director Alhassan Kemoh Sesay, expressed deep appreciation and reaffirmed his organization’s dedication to creating sustainable impact:

“With this support, DESAL will be able to reach many more farmers and make a meaningful impact in their communities,” said Alhassan Kemoh Sesay.

This support is delivered under the European Union-funded Developing an Inclusive and Sustainable Cashew Agroforestry Value Chain (DISCA-VC) Project -a testament to what strong, trust-based partnerships can achieve.

Together, we are building stronger value chains and improving , one community at a time.

DEVELOP SALONE (DESAL) CONSTRUCT FOUR SCHOOLS IN ROBOMBEH COMMUNITY, BOMBALI DISTRICT.
Develop Salone–DESAL, a national Non-Governmental Organization headquartered in Makeni, Bombali District, has between 2021 and 2025 funded and supported the construction of four educational institutions in Robombeh community, Makari Chiefdom, Bombali District, Northern Sierra Leone. The project was financed through proceeds generated by DESAL Investment Organic Farm (DIOF) and the organization’s microfinance initiatives, reflecting DESAL’s commitment to self-sustaining, community-driven development.
