Today is a blessed and joyful moment as we celebrate the birthday of our hardworking brother, uncle, nephew, and father, Mr. Kulio Mohamed Jalloh.
Mr. Kulio Mohamed Jalloh is not only a brother to me, but someone who stood by me during my most challenging times. He is a man of integrity, dedication, and passion for development, particularly within the Mabbem communities, especially Sambaia Chiefdom.
He formerly served as a Community Liaison Officer (CLO) during the era of SLDC / African Minerals Limited, where he tirelessly advocated for youth empowerment. Through his efforts, many young people benefited from employment opportunities, empowerment programs, and educational support, including awards and
sponsorships for those qualified to enroll in universities, colleges, and technical institutions.
Mr. Kulio Mohamed Jalloh also played a pioneering role in the proper utilization of community development funds provided by African Minerals Limited, where each chiefdom received Le 12,000 (New Leones) for agriculture, education, and health services.
Through his initiative and collaboration with the late Hon. Alimamy Kulio Jalloh II, alongside his elder brother Mr. Sama Kulio Jalloh, a historic decision was made to invest these funds in the construction of the MCA Junior Secondary School in Bendugu Town—a lasting legacy for future generations.

*Obituary Announcement for the Late Tamba Koroma in Sambaia Chiefdom, Tonkolili District.*
On February 2, 2025, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Tamba Koroma, who died last night at ABD Hospital.
On behalf of the late Honourable Paramount Chief Alimamy Kulio Jalloh II, both at home and abroad, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Tamba Koroma, former Chiefdom Speaker.
Mr. Tamba Koroma was a humble servant who lived in Sambaia Chiefdom with dignity and respect.
He worked diligently to eradicate poverty and initiated cleanliness programs, feeder road projects, and committed to planning the development of Bendugu Township infrastructure.
He was a beacon of hope and inspiration, serving in various capacities within our sister chiefdoms, especially Sambaia Chiefdom.
Mr. Koroma served as a technical consultant and advisor to the late Honourable Paramount Chief Alimamy Kulio Jalloh II.
He also acted as Regent Section Chief and was appointed by the late Honourable Paramount Chief as Chiefdom Speaker.
Since my father appointed him to this role, we have not experienced any disputes or conflicts among family members.
He served the community with compassion and love for everyone.
Mr. Tamba Koroma was instrumental in nurturing many sons and daughters who have significantly contributed to the development of MaBBeN communities, particularly in Sambaia Chiefdom.
Although we have lost our grandfather, father, and uncle Tamba Koroma, we look forward to working diligently with family members as one united family.
May his soul rest in peace.
