Tonkolili Progressive Union

Tonkolili Progressive Union Civic education promoting peace, unity, reconciliation and political participation The Union sensitizes about HIv and AIdes, against gender based violence.

The Union lays emphasis on education and Agriculture etc. The Union is a non- political organization of Tonkolili District descendants. The Union is duely registered with the Ministry of Social welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs and also with the Tonkolili District Council. By the time of its launch in December 2011, the TPU had established branches in Makeni and six other chiefdoms and it is about to do so in the remaining ones.
