We, the farmers, stand united in our commitment to fight hunger in our communities and beyond. As the backbone of food production, we recognize both our responsibility and our power to create lasting change.
Hunger is not only a result of food scarcity—it is driven by poverty, inequality, climate challenges, and limited access to resources. We face these realities daily, yet we remain determined to be part of the solution.
We call for:
Fair access to land, finance, and markets for all farmers, especially women and youth
Increased investment in climate-smart and sustainable agriculture
Stronger support systems, including extension services, storage, and processing facilities
Fair pricing and reduced post-harvest losses
Inclusive policies that recognize and empower smallholder farmers
We commit to:
Producing diverse, nutritious, and safe food for our communities
Adopting sustainable and climate-resilient farming practices
Supporting each other through farmer organizations and cooperatives
Promoting gender equality and youth participation in agriculture
Ending hunger requires collective action. We urge governments, private sector actors, development partners, and communities to work with us—not just for us.
