I dedicate these awards to you my wonderful family and community. None of this would have been possible without your support, commitment and belief in the work we continue to do together.
I am sincerely grateful to you all and I proudly dedicate these awards to every one of you.

KHHI-SL in collaboration with partners, successfully conducted series of sensitization activities aimed at addressing the growing concerns of drug sales and use in schools. This initiative came as a result of the challenges faced by the KHHI-SL Rehabilitation Center in the reintegration of survivors and recovering victims into schools and communities, particularly due to the increasing prevalence of drug misuse and negative peer influence within school environments.
The sensitization activities focused on raising awareness among students, parents and school authorities, on the dangers and consequences associated with substance abuse and drug trafficking within schools.
During the sessions, strong messages were delivered on the existence and role of the task force committee established to combat drugs sales and use in schools. Participants were informed that the committee will continue to monitor the situation closely and conduct unannounced on-the-spot checks in schools and surrounding communities to identify and track defaulters involved in drug-related activities in schools.
The campaign served as a warning against the sale, distribution and use of drugs in and around schools, while encouraging students and community members to report suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
KHHI-SL and partners remain committed to sustaining these engagements and working collectively with all stakeholders to protect children and young people from the harmful effects of drugs and substance misuse, while promoting safer and more supportive learning environments for all
