Our youth farmers are putting their marketing knowledge to good use after a bumper harvest of 279kg in Kambia District!

More than half of their harvest was sold to pre-arranged buyers and local retailers and wholesalers. The remaining produce is making its way to Freetown this morning!

Farmers from Bureh Chiefdom, Port Loko District enjoyed their first harvest of vegetables yesterday!

With funding from the European Union in Sierra Leone and partnerships with National Authorising Office - National Authorising Office - NAO, Sierra LeoneNational Authorising Office - NAO, Sierra Leone Sierra Leone and Ministry of agriculture and forestry youth farmers have been trained in greenhouse technology, vegetable cultivation and marketing. These farmers can now look forward to nine months of continuous harvest, even throughout the rainy season.
