LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – June 2, 2025 – Today, we stand on the precipice of a new dawn for Africa.
The IBT Movement for a United States of Africa declares that the era of our subjugation is over. We are no longer the enslaved; we are the African warriors forging a path to a United Africa.
For centuries, our continent endured the brutality of the slave trade, a period that sought to strip us of our dignity, our resources, and our very essence. Yet, through unimaginable suffering, the spirit of Africa endured. From the ashes of that dark era, a new consciousness has emerged—one of unwavering strength, resilience, and an unyielding commitment to our shared destiny.
We look back at the chains of slavery not with bitterness alone, but with the wisdom gained from profound injustice. This wisdom fuels our resolve to build a future where no African is ever again exploited, where our vast resources benefit our people, and where our collective power transforms the global landscape.
The time for fragmentation is over. The time for internal divisions is over. It is time for Africa to unite under one banner, to leverage our collective strength, and to claim our rightful place on the world stage. We envision a United States of Africa—a powerhouse of innovation, economic prosperity, and cultural richness that will inspire the world.
Let it be known: The narrative of our weakness, propagated by those who once sought to enslave us, is crumbling. Indeed, the day is fast approaching when those who made us slaves for hundreds of years will beg for AID from Africa. This is not a boast; it is a prophecy born from the undeniable truth of Africa’s potential and the rising tide of our self-determination.
