On 1st October 2025 upon the recommendation & unanimous vote by the authority of the 238th Executive Committee of (WFUNA) we are United Nations Association of Sierra Leone (UNA-Sierra Leone UNASIL) pending adoption at the 44th Plenary Assembly in 2026 We as a national representative of the people of the Republic of Sierra Leone established on the concepts and principles of working to have a strong

er and effective United Nations and the World Federation of United Nations Associations, we have declare that we are determined:
• To save succeeding generations from the scourge of war and poverty, which twice in our life time have brought untold sorrow to all our people;
• To reaffirm in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of our fellow human being, in gender equality nationwide.
• To establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and sources of national and international laws can be maintained.
• To promote social progress and better standards of life, promotion of freedom in our society, practice of tolerance and virtues of living and staying together in peace and harmony, having one another as neighbors.
• To promote the unity and strength so as to maintain discipline, law and order.
• To promote national sanity, respect for the rule of law, maintain national peace and security.
• To ensure, by the acceptance of principles and the institution of methods, that armed forces SHALL not be used and to ensure the common interest of the people are been provided.
• To employ international machinery for the promotion of the economic and social advancement of the STATE and Her People.
• Whereas the Government of Sierra Leone agrees to the Charter of this association so as to accomplishment of these aims, hereby, the establishment of this establish this association;

We the Representatives of the United Nations Association of Sierra Leone:
• We believe that since wars begin in the minds of people, it is in the minds of people that the defenses of peace SHALL be constructed.
• We believe that peace SHALL be founded, if it is not to fail, upon the intellectual and moral solidarity of all people of the Republic of Sierra Leone. We have resolved to combine our efforts to form an association of the people and having agreed to this present Constitution as we do solemnly hereby establish this association.
