🟢Why Global Unites?
Abdul Rahman believes deeply in the power of young people to rebuild fractured societies and lead transformational change. His commitment to youth empowerment and peace aligns closely with the mission of Global Unites.
As Founder and National Director of Sierra Leone Unites, he works to advance the Sustainable Development Goals through peacebuilding, nonviolence, conflict transformation, and strong youth leadership. For him, Global Unites is a movement where young people become active contributors to peace, rather than passive observers of conflict.
He sees Global Unites as a platform that amplifies local leadership, connects changemakers across nations, and transforms anger and division into purposeful collective action.
🌍Hope for the World
Abdul Rahman envisions a world where young people are restored as productive members of their communities, equipped to lead their nations toward lasting peace and inclusive development.
His hope is for a society where conflicts are resolved through dialogue, where women and young people share leadership spaces, and where communities thrive economically and socially.
He dreams of an Africa where local leadership is nurtured and celebrated, and where the values of dignity, justice, and nonviolence guide public life.
