🐝🌼 WORLD BEE DAY • 20TH MAY 🌼🐝

Today we celebrate the tiny heroes that help our planet bloom!

Bees help pollinate many of the fruits, vegetables and flowers we enjoy every day. In fact, 1 in 3 bites of food depends on pollinators like bees! 🌻

But bees are being threatened by:
* harmful pesticides
* loss of forests and habitats
* Pollution
* climate change...

That is why World Bee Day matters.

This year’s theme:
🐝 “Bee Together for People and the Planet – A partnership that sustains us all.”

At 100 Acre Woods Kids Nature Club, we believe every child can help protect nature by planting flowers, caring for the environment and learning to love pollinators.

Small bees. Big impact.
Every buzz counts.

WE TOOK THEM BACK OUTSIDE… AND IT WAS A SUCCESS! 🌿

What a beautiful day of learning, laughter, discovery and connection in nature.

From forest walks and birdwatching, to circle games, outdoor presentations, free play and new friendships formed — our little Eco-Warriors experienced the joy of simply being children outdoors again. 🌍🍃

The day was filled with:
🌱 New knowledge and understanding
🌱 First-time experiences and practical skills gained
🌱 Confidence-building through interactive learning
🌱 Teamwork, curiosity and exploration
🌱 Screen-free outdoor play and genuine connection

Watching the children run freely, observe nature closely, ask thoughtful questions, and laugh together without phones or digital distractions reminded us why this work matters so much.

Nature has a way of teaching, healing and inspiring all at once — and on Saturday, little hearts connected with it in ways we hope will last forever!

We said we were taking the children back outside… and we truly did. 💚

Thank you to everyone who supported, trusted and believed in this experience. The journey continues...
