Farming on Crutches is a project of the SLASA program. This time we are providing an alternative interest to synthetic inputs which are often expensive for farmers.
We want to reduce farmers loan to chemical fertilizer, regenerate soil and restore biodiversity in the ecosystem
I'm Mambud Samai. I survived Sierra Leone's civil war and spent years in a refugee camp watching amputees struggle in a world that no longer saw them. That experience became Farming on Crutches — training war amputees in regenerative farming. 100+ farmers have now graduated, healing people, communities & land.
