We started a tutorial class for the light house youth on the 19th of February. A total of 19 pupils are attending, including 11 grade 7,8,9 students, and 8 10,11, and 12 students. Although a few students sometimes arrive late, the youth are generally cooperative during lessons.
There are 9 tutors who are punctual and effective in teaching. All subjects are taught for SSS students, while JSS students study all subjects except Krio and French.
Classes are held in two shifts:
Morning: 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The program aims to help students clearly understand their lessons, build confidence, think critically, communicate effectively, and apply their knowledge in real-life situations, supporting their academic, social, and personal development.

We are thrilled to announce that our annual Good News Club Christmas Party for 550 children will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Ale’ Ale’ House of Hope Compound.

Our budget for this year’s celebration is $4,887.25 that’s roughly $9 per child to provide a beautiful gift, a delicious meal and drink, and festive decorations that make the day extra special.
