I promised her forever, and I meant it. It's not a word I just said to fit in the occasion on our wedding day.
But here's what I've learned: Forever isn't a length of time. It's a choice you make every morning when you wake up.
Matthew 19:6 Says, Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
Today, I choose her.❤️
Tomorrow, I'll choose her again.❤️
And the next day.❤️
And the next.🥰
To the married couples: Ephesians 5:25 Says , Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself. Ephesians 5:22 Says Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do on to the Lord. Submit means respect, Support, Stand beside, That's the standard. Not perfection or Sacrifice.
To the engaged or engaged at heart: Make your promises before God. Not just before people. Invite Him into your covenant.
To the singles: Wait for someone who understands promise. Someone who keeps their word. Someone who shows up.
To the heartbroken: Someone broke their promise to you. But God never breaks His. Psalm 145:13 Says, The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.
To the complicated: If there's no promise, there's no foundation. Don't build on sand.
To everyone following this series:
Thank you for being here.
This is just the beginning, we're going deeper. every day 🥰
Here's a prayer for all of us:
Father, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for the gift of love—not as a fleeting feeling, but as a sacred promise and a daily choice.
For those of us who are married, give us the strength to love like Christ—sacrificially, patiently, and unconditionally. Help us to choose our spouse today, tomorrow, and every day after, honoring the covenant You have joined together.
For those preparing for marriage, guide them to build their promises on the solid rock of Your word, inviting You to be the center of their union from the very start.
For those who are single, guard their hearts and give them wisdom to wait for someone who reflects Your faithfulness.
And for those who are heartbroken, heal the wounds left by broken promises. Remind them that even when people fail, You remain faithful to all Your promises, and Your love for them never wavers.
Lord, help us all to build our relationships on the foundation of Your truth, so that when the storms come, we will not fall.
We ask this in Jesus' precious name. Amen.
See you soon. 🥰❤️
Stay Positive 💪🏽
