The Patriotic Advocacy Network Sierra Leone, PAN is preparing a new generation of young Sierra Leoneans with those skills through its 3rd cohort of the Leadership & Public Speaking Masterclass 2026.

The Patriotic Advocacy Network (PAN) is proud to have supported โ€œCatch Them Young,โ€ a transformative change initiative organised by Mr Alex A. Bah, a Rotary Fellow and PRO, Anti-Corruption Commission SL.

Hosted at the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Conference Hall in Tower Hill, the workshop convened over 20 Senior Secondary School pupils representing seven schools across the Western Area for an intensive session dedicated to Peace, Integrity, and Leadership.

PAN Co-Founder and Team Lead, Ansumana Keita Esq facilitated the core module on Leadership and Peacebuilding. During his address, he introduced three essential pillars of effective leadership:

โ€” Owning one's actions and duty to the community.

โ€” Recognising societal challenges and aligning with core ethical values.

โ€” Prioritising the collective good over personal interpersonal

Mr Keita urged the pupils to cultivate an open mindset, commit to continuous growth, and actively step into leadership roles.

Highlights of the commemoration!

โ€‹This year's commemoration was observed under the theme: Different Contexts, Same Aspirations.

It was truly inspiring to see young people from over 30 organisations and movements unite for a common purpose.

โ€‹For the past two years, this initiative has brought youth together to drive community awareness in informal settlements.

This year, we brought our efforts to Kroo Bay, building on last year's impactful experience at Susan's Bay.

โ€‹Special appreciation goes to SHE4Peace, & Leader Mariama Sahid for their tremendous leadership and effort, as well as to every young person who made it a point of duty to show up when it mattered most.

โ€‹As our motto in the Patriotic Advocacy Network Sierra Leone states: .

There is truly no limit to what we can accomplish when we stand united as young people.

โ€‹Our contexts might be different, but our aspirations remain the same.
