โ€‹Following 7 impactful days in Western Area Urban, the Back-to-School Civic Education Campaign expanded today into the Western Area Rural District, covering the Jui-to-Waterloo axis.

โ€‹On Day 8, outreach sessions were successfully conducted at:

โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Darul Quran Sec Sch (Devil Hole)
โ–ช๏ธโ€‹The Sierra Leone Netherlands Friendship International High School (Rokel)
โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Secondary School (Waterloo).

โ€‹This campaign continues to strengthen civic consciousness, patriotic values, and active citizenship among secondary school pupils.

โ€‹We extend our gratitude to our campaign partner, Twisco, and the administration of each participating school for their support and collaboration.

โ€‹The Patriotic Advocacy Network (PAN) conducted an orientation and briefing session for school pupils to outline its core values, operational expectations, and upcoming initiatives.

โ€‹Guided by its motto, "Together We Can Achieve," and slogan, "Fidelity to All," the session focused on five key operational areas:

โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Understanding the Basics of PAN
โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Public Speaking for Girls
โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Cowbell Kapu Sense Challenge
โ–ช๏ธโ€‹National Storytelling Festival
โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Empowerment for Pupils

โ€‹Key Highlights from the Session:

โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Institutional Legacy & Work Plan: Members and executive leaders were urged to establish structured work plans to drive sustainable impact.

โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Activity Implementation: Guidance was provided on executing key initiatives, including Operation Clean Your School, the PAN Hour, the issuance of official PAN badges, and PAN polo shirts.

โ–ช๏ธโ€‹Membership Registration: Registration forms will be made available to prospective members.

โ€‹The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment and a photo session.

Back-to-School Civic Education Campaign

โ€‹Week 1 is officially in the books!

As part of our ongoing efforts to empower young minds, the Advocacy Network (PAN) visited three major schools this week:
โ€‹๐Ÿ“ Prince of Wales (POW)
๐Ÿ“ Sierra Leone International Mission
๐Ÿ“ Vision Academy

โ€‹At PAN, our ultimate goal is to instill strong civic values, leadership, and patriotism in the younger generation.

โ€‹Active, responsible citizenship begins at an early age. Equipping our youth with an understanding of their role as engaged citizens is vital to the long-term growth and prosperity of our nation.
