After months of intensive indoor engagements with Ministry of Health management and the Ministry of Finance on the welfare of nurses, we are proud to see that our collective advocacy has yielded results.

The provision of 10 staff buses, 10 utility vehicles, and 450 motorbikes will significantly enhance service delivery across all districts in Sierra Leone. This milestone is not just about logistics—it is about strengthening the backbone of our health system.

With nurses making up over 60% of the healthcare workforce, this support is both timely and impactful.

The Sierra Leone Nurses Association remains deeply grateful and steadfast in its commitment to advancing the welfare, motivation, and effectiveness of nurses nationwide.

Together, we move forward—stronger, better equipped, and more determined to serve.
