Women’s Forum Sierra Leone (WFSL) hereby invites sealed bids from qualified and eligible suppliers, vendors, and service providers for the provision of goods and services under its ongoing programme supported by UN Women Spotlight Initiative 2.0.

Women’s Forum Sierra Leone (WFSL), a legally registered and nationally recognized umbrella organization established in 1994, brings together over 300 women’s groups across the country. The organization operates with a strong commitment to advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment nationwide.
Under the project titled “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements and Transforming Social Norms to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG)”, WFSL is implementing a 12-month programme (March 2026 – February 2027) across Moyamba, Kailahun, and Falaba districts.
WFSL seeks competent and experienced bidders to supply goods, works, and services in line with project objectives and procurement guidelines.
Interested bidders are invited to submit their offers for the specified lots. Detailed bidding documents and requirements can be obtained through WFSL’s official contact channels.

Women’s Forum Sierra Leone Strengthens Community Engagement in Falaba Under Spotlight Initiative 2.0

Women’s Forum Sierra Leone (WFSL) continues to make significant strides in advancing the fight against violence against women and girls through the successful implementation of activities under Spotlight Initiative 2.0.

Today - 1 May 2026, WFSL convened a strategic inception meeting with key stakeholders at the Falaba District Council Hall, bringing together community leaders and partners to strengthen collaboration, local ownership, and collective action toward ending violence against women and girls.
As the lead implementing partner for UN Women, WFSL is delivering the project titled “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements and Transforming Social Norms to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) and Harmful Practices (HP).” The engagement in Falaba forms part of a broader outreach strategy designed to ensure grassroots participation and sustainable impact.

The successful conclusion of inception meetings across three districts marks an important milestone in the project rollout. It demonstrates growing community commitment, stronger stakeholder alignment, and renewed momentum to promote women’s rights, gender equality, and safer communities nationwide.
WFSL remains steadfast in its commitment to working with communities, institutions, and development partners to create inclusive, accountable, and violence-free societies for all women and girls in Sierra Leone.

29 April 2026 , Women’s Forum Sierra Leone Advances Community Engagement in Moyamba Under Spotlight Initiative 2.0

As part of ongoing efforts to end violence against women and girls in Sierra Leone, Women’s Forum Sierra Leone (WFSL) today convened another important inception meeting with key stakeholders at the Moyamba Court Barry under the Spotlight Initiative 2.0.

WFSL, as the lead implementing partner for UN Women, is implementing the project titled “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements and Transforming Social Norms to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) and Harmful Practices (HP).” As part of the inception process, outreach engagements were also conducted across three chiefdoms in Moyamba District.

The meeting brought together local chiefs, Mammy Queens, women living with HIV, youth representatives, Soweis, civil society organizations, and commercial s*x workers to promote inclusive participation, community ownership, and collective action.

Community scorecards will be introduced in Korri, Ribbi, and Kargboro Chiefdoms to monitor progress, strengthen accountability, and support evidence-based community responses.

WFSL remains committed to safeguarding the rights of women and girls and working with communities nationwide to build safer, more inclusive, and violence-free societies.

Today 27 April 2026 we are in Kailahun Court Barry under Spotlight Initiative 2.0 holding our inception meeting with key stakeholders. WFSL is the lead partner for UN Women on a theme project called “Strengthening Womens Rights Movements and Transforming Social Norms to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) and Harmful Practices (HP)”.

This work falls under Outcome D which puts civil society at the front of advocacy and accountability. We are bringing in local chiefs, Mammy queens, Women living with HIV, Youths, Sowe’s, CSO’s, and Commercial s*x workers as active partners and we will use community scorecards to track progress.

Our focus districts are Moyamba, Kailahun and Falaba.
