Empower 200 Initiative Orientation Day Highlights
The Empower 200 Initiative commenced on a strong and inspiring note, with over 100 women participating in the Day 1 orientation. The session was marked by enthusiasm, optimism, and a shared commitment to personal and economic empowerment.
Participants were introduced to the core skills development programs that will be delivered throughout the initiative, including:

• Decoration & Event Styling
• Hair Dressing
• Digital Literacy
• Gara Tie-Dyeing
• Cosmetics & Beauty Production
The WiMi Country Coordinator, Dr. Lauretta Will Sillah, delivered a motivating keynote, emphasizing the importance of resilience, self-confidence, and collective progress in advancing women’s empowerment.
The day concluded with formal participant registration into their selected training areas, signifying the beginning of a transformative journey toward sustainable livelihoods and inclusive growth.
