Dahlia Ladies Foundation President Pays Courtesy visit to Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union*

Tervuren, Brussels. 30th September 2025.

The President of Dahlia Ladies Foundation has today paid a courtesy visit to Sierra Leone’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union, Ambassador Philip Bob Jusu in Brussels.

In her statement , the President of Dahlia Foundation, Mrs. Yeanie Ngombu expressed gratitude to the ambassador for granting her audience amidst his busy schedule.

She went on to give a brief background about the Foundation’s establishment in 1970 and the numerous charity activities they have been doing in order to complement government’s efforts and to give back to society.

She also highlighted the calendar of activities to commemorate the Foundation’s 55th anniversary while appealing for ambassador Jusu’s support.

In his response, Ambassador Jusu commended the efforts of the foundation for giving back to society through charity. He noted the importance of the ideas discussed and commended the effort of the Foundation in taking bold actions to support societal development and growth.
He concluded by suggesting other areas of interest for development and encouraged the leadership of the foundation to continue in those development drive.
