SLANGO was happy to have been invited by the institute for Sierra Leonean Languages (TISLL) to make a statement on international mother language day celebrations on the 21st February 2024 on the theme ‘Multilingual Education a pillar of inter generational learning’ in her statement the National coordinator Ms Alice Nenneh James stated that being multilingual has so many benefits beyond just being able to communicate with people who speak different languages. It can increase your job prospects, help you connect with people from different cultures, and even improve your cognitive function. She thanked TISLL for doing great job and promise to partner with them as we protect our languages
