Bridging the digital gap

The organization as it name implies (IT Specialists without borders) aim at targeting the world at large. But as at this moment, our focus is the country where the organization originated, Sierra Leone first and the sub region later. The following are the targeted groups in Sierra Leone: All the schools, higher institutions, universities, companies, government and non – governmental institutions/organizations, communities and remote villages in all the 16 district of Sierra Leone.

OUR MISSION

Our predominant mission is to take ICT at the door step of the underprivileged, through ICT educational programs, Research, Training, Workshop’s and Scholarship grant.

Such as:

Empowering student by sharing knowledge through ICT activities like; competition, training, lectures, Workshop and interacting with ICT student in other countries and the world at large.

Improving the quality of ICT Education in Schools, Lower & Higher Institutions (universities), local communities and villages.

Creating job opportunity for students in the field of ICT upon graduating from IT institution/universities

Preparing ICT students and individuals to startup their own businesses for the future by becoming entrepreneurs.

Giving ICT help to government & non – governmental organization/institutions, privileged and underprivileged communities and villages

Guide companies, schools, higher institutions, government and non – governmental organization in terms of ICT on the path of growth and development by providing them with the necessary skilled, trained and experienced ICT specialists. To put together their technological resources and reap the best out of it thereby helping them in strategizing and training their staffs efficiently and profoundly.

VISION

We envision to increasing the access of technology for people around the world, most especially Sierra Leone being the starting point wherein the internet as a case study is access by only the chosen few who have the opportunity in accessing it. Mitigating the gap between skill acquired by students in their course study and the market requirement, so that they are job – ready after graduating from IT institution/universities; thereby giving them training that’s relevant and not outdated which foster innovation and creativity instead of just producing well – versed professionals in the field of ICT without giving back to their societies, communities, country and the world at large.

To implement the study of ICT in schools around the 16 District in Sierra Leone and taking it beyond boundaries to door step of every country in their schools, higher institutions/universities.

Making ICT a most, available and affordable at reasonable cost, proving opportunities and resources if necessary to schools, higher leaning institutions remote and underprivileged communities around the world.
