Forum for Financial and Economic Inclusion - Sierra Leone We are a CSO/NGO that promote Financial Inclusion and Economic Empowerment in Sierra Leone. Our tar Forum for Financial and Economic Inclusion (FoFEI)’.

It is a Non-Governmental/Civil Society Organization situated at the Central Business District (CBD) of the capital city Freetown, Sierra Leone. Our motto is “Transforming Lives through Sustainable Financial and Economic Empowerment and Advocacy”. Our thematic focus is to promote Financial Inclusion and Economic Empowerment through financial literacy and education, MSMEs capacity building and acces

s to finance, Digital Financial Service promotion, Agricultural Finance promotion, Economic Empowerment and Public Financial Management (PFM). Our targets are women and young people at all level, but emphasis is on underprivileged and those that are deprived (people below the population and/or income pyramid). We envisage individuals that are excluded from the financial system and have experienced disproportionate barriers to economic and financial opportunities, to be included and actively involved in the economic and financial system of development that will enhance them to lead their lives and create opportunities for others. We have engaged in financial literacy campaign and education in underprivileged communities; we have trained, built the capacity and provide coaching and mentorship in business and financial management for women and young people who are engaged in Micro, Small and Medium Businesses in Sierra Leone; we have lobbied and advocated with financial institutions and the Central Bank of Sierra Leone for financial services providers to have a flexible entry requirements that could enable the ordinary man to have access to their services and product; and, we have engaged in Public Financial Management (PFM) activities, we have built the capacity of young people and women in accountability and transparency at all level and good citizenship practice. We strived to achieve our goals through Capacity Building, Advocacy, Lobbying, Case Stories, Research and Documentations, Collaboration and Partnership, Community Mobilization and Participation, and Media Campaign and Public Awareness
