Lifting As We Climb: Reflections from the Kambia District Council Hall.
By M R Kposowa-Taylor
Ceo/Founder Infinity Mind Foundation.
Today was a landmark day for women’s empowerment in Sierra Leone, and I am filled with immense pride. As the CEO of Infinity Mind Foundation (IMF) and a woman, it was a privilege to stand in solidarity with TIMAP for Women’s Empowerment during their 5th Anniversary National Women’s Watermark Conference.
The theme, "Mentorship Matters – Lifting As We Climb," resonates deeply with our core mission at Infinity Mind Foundation. We believe that when women lead, they don't just succeed alone they create a pathway for the next generation.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our Deputy CEO, Mohamed Abass Kamara, for his powerful address on behalf of IMF and our partners. His words underscored the importance of collective action and shared vision. He was also joined by our dedicated Directors, Dr Sei Coleman and Mr Amos D. Kposowa, whose presence reminds us that leadership is a team effort.
Mentorship is the "watermark" of a progressive society. By partnering with organisations like TIMAP and CEO Isatu Moses, we are ensuring that the women of Kambia and the North-West Region have the support, wisdom, and resources they need to thrive.
To every woman who attended today: keep climbing, and keep reaching back to pull others up with you.
