On behalf of Sierra Leone International Model United Nations we extend our deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone and the Government of the People’s Republic of China 🇨🇳 for the remarkable opportunity granted to us to participate in the international seminar on held in China on the 4th - 17th March, 2026.
This initiative reflects a strong commitment to international cooperation, capacity building, and knowledge exchange among developing nations. The opportunity to engage in high-level lectures, field visits, and practical learning experiences across multiple cities in China has significantly broadened our understanding of sustainable development, digital innovation, and rural economic transformation.
We are particularly grateful for the Embassy’s continuous support in promoting educational exchange, cultural diversity, and professional development opportunities for young leaders and institutions in Sierra Leone. Such collaborative efforts strengthen bilateral relations, encourage mutual learning, and build bridges of friendship between our two nations.
The experience provided a valuable platform to learn from China’s remarkable development journey, especially in areas of e-commerce, infrastructure, governance, and rural revitalization. It also reinforced the importance of global partnerships in addressing development challenges and promoting inclusive economic growth in developing countries.
