Today we normally celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child, we stand united in our commitment to the health and well-being of women and girls across West Africa. As we celebrate the power and potential of every girl, we want to remind you:

1. Girls’ Health:
“When we invest in the health of girls, we invest in the future of our communities and nations. Healthy girls become empowered women, who drive positive change in the world.”
2. Mental Health:
“Taking care of your mental health isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a powerful step toward a stronger, more resilient self. Every girl deserves to live without the shadow of stigma.”
3. Breast Cancer:
“Breast cancer is a battle many women face, but with early detection, awareness, and support, we can all be warriors for those fighting and survivors alike.”
